Staff: What do you think about a company that is trying to build a network of black entertainers?
Nija:
I think it is very essential at this time for black entertainers to be as high in rank as the other entertainers. That there
are not only just clubs but companies who want to respresent us as well.

Staff: How long have you've been in a dancer?
Nija:
In the entertainment industry itself over 9 years

Staff: How did you get started in the business?
Nija:
I went on a album release tour in 1999 with 2 live crew and it opened up different
doors for me.

Staff: What do you think about the business today compared to when you first started in the business?
Nija: The money and the entertainers aren't the the same. Some of the entertainers have lowered
their standards and made it hard for REAL entertainers to maintain their status.

Staff: How do the men treat you as a performer?
Nija:
Like the woman that I present. Just fine cause I am always myself. I act like
how I want to be trated.

Staff: Have you done any print work (i.e. Hustler, Black Tail magazine)?
Nija:
No I have not

Staff: Who are your mentors in the business?
Nija: Myself

Staff: What are your goals as a dancer?
Nija:
Obtain a prestigous name and finanancial stability for the work I have done.

Staff: What problems have you faced in the industry?
Nija:
Women being cheap, selling themselves for less than what they are worth.

Staff: What name would you prefer to be called, stripper, dancer, exotic dancer, etc….?
Nija:
Entertainer...I don't just dance bit and take off my clothes. I like to be visual stimualtion along with a show.

Staff: How does it feel being on stage with all the eyes on you?
Nija:
I like what I do so I enjoy it.

Staff: I have been around dancers for quite a while and many of them have specialties. What is your specialty?
Nija:
I like to play with linked gold balls. I pull them from inside me. I can light m nipples on fire and I like to play with laser
lights.

Staff: Many people feel that dancers are just soft core porn stars themselves. I have been asked this question quite a few
times and I wanted to get your view on it. What is the difference between a dancer and a Porn Star?
Nija:
Well I can't really tell you that because in some ways that stand to be true but I don't make movies and don't really see
myself getting paid to do one. Porn stars have made a name for themselves because that's all they do. Some of us are truly
ENTERTAINERS.

Staff: What is your view on the Vixen model?
Nija:
It's fine with me.

Staff: I know a lot of guys hit on dancers in this business and offer dancers money for more than just a dance how do you
deal with that?
Nija:
I am a grown woman so anything that is trhwon at me I know I have a reputation to uphold and so I am judiscious with my choices.

Staff: What would people be surprised to know about you?
Nija:
That I am a mother of 2 girls that are about to be 14 and 10 and that I am as old as I am

Nija: I believe that networking is best source.

Staff: Being a woman of color has it been harder to get your name out there?
Nija:
Not really I have my own connects and way of networking

Not into videos

Yes but I am not all that found of Myspace

At the end of the day I get people to respect me for my MIND
and my BUSINESS. I represent myself and do me because it works.I structure the image I present to the world without compromising
the essence of who I really am. I don't struggle with my image or reputation because I attract what I reflect grasping on
to class and taste. All I do is continue to do what I do with nothing but improvements and love from those who know and support
me.
