Big D:   What’s up Al, tell the people that don’t know who you are and what it is that you do?

Al:         Well man I’m retired military, Just moved on in with my best friend Robert Baker of OZ entertainment.  A management company based in the Van Ayes area of Los Angeles, the heart of the adult industry.  I have been with OZ for the last five years part time but went full time in August of 2006. 

Big D:   We all know that the industry is predominately white based but your company represents all nationalities.  What are your views on blacks in the industry in general?

Al:         A big niche, especially with blacks is male talent.  Many of the blacks that are in the industry tend not to treat it as a business.  A lot of the guys that I have met are looking more to hook up than to create businesses therefore are not being taken seriously.  This is a business and we should treat it as such and support each others growth.

Big D:   Does your company represent male talent?

Al:         We have limited number of male talent that we represent.  Presently we only have one male talent under contract.  When we come across projects that male talent is needed we have connections with people like Mr. Marcus & T Reel so we just pass it on to them.

Big D:   Do you work with unknown male talent?

Al:         No, not at the present.  But soon we will be launching a new site that will before new talent both males and females to gain exposure.  It will have resources to help them navigate the industry.  It will have articles on how to get auditions as well as the dos and don’ts while at an auditions.  But we will be looking for new talent in the near future.    

Big D:   Speaking of male talent, I got calls, emails and instant messages all the time asking me how can they get into the business.  My problem with new male talent is that they see it as more of an opportunity to fuck some women.  They really don’t understand the ins and outs of the business such as keeping wood or popping on cue.  What kind of advice would you want to give to a guy that trying to get into the business?

 Al:   One of the things that I would advice guys getting into the business is to check out our site when it comes out.  www.pornstaraudtions.com.  It will have all the information a talent would need to be successful in the industry.  Also for all of our talent we have procedures that they most follow to let them know what they’re responsibility.  The website will also feature articles on AIMs testing as well.

Big D:   Yeah, I have an article on my website called AIMs vs. AIDS test what’s the difference?  There are many people trying to get started in the business and don’t have a clue about how in depth the testing is in the adult industry.  Many people in the business have approached me about helping them get work, and when I ask them have they been AIM’s tested the usual response is “What’s That!”  So I think people really need to be made aware of this.  We really appreciate you for what you do, helping people in this business.

Al:     Like when you granted me membership to your yahoo group, it was a filtering aspect for me to start learning.  There was a lot of good information on hand and you do a really good job moderating and let people say what they want to say no matter what good, bad or indifferent.  It was a great opener to get on your site and make connections.  With your site I was able to connect with Big Kat Productions in the Washington, D.C. area.  We conducted some work together with one of our girls we manage in the Virginia and North Carolina area.  We did a couple of shoots for him with a couple of new male talents he is using.  Your group is a good forum and a great place to network.

Big D:   Cool it makes me feel good that it is actually helping some people.  So tell every- one about OZ entertainment.

Al:   OZ entertainment is a company owned by Robert Baker, a good friend of mine for over twenty years.  Robert is a former producer and director.  He has been in the industry for over twelve years.  He is a deal maker.  Robert has the ability to walk into the doors of your Wickeds, New Sensations, Adam & Eves and get deals.  He was able to get deals for Carmen Nirvana and Carmen Heart at Wicked and Adam & Eve.  OZ is a multi-facetted entertainment management company besides the adult work we also deal with music, acting and mainstream modeling.

Big D:   Cool tell me about that, Being that the industry is so weak here in H-Town, If I were to meet a girl how can she get on with your company?

Al:   One of the big things we look at is that we are a family and believe in doing things right with NO BS, No shady paperwork.  All of our management contracts are by the Numbers A, B, C’s 1, 2, 3’s this is who we are.  We also have a rules and requirements for all of our talent.  We have to be professional because the people we deal with are running businesses.

Big D:   Yes I run into a lot of women that want to be millionaires as porn stars, but they don’t treat it as a business.  So how can some get in touch with you guys?
