The playing field is finally starting to level out.

Previous years in the adult industry have been pretty much the same.  A hand full of blacks being nominated for awards but few if any have won.  The Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment (F.A.M.E) has turned out to be a carbon copy of previous years.  Only four categories feature black nominees.

They include Favorite Male Star Lexington Steele, Favorite Celebrity Sex Tape Ray J & Kim Kardashian, Favorite Oral Starlet Jada Fire and Favorite Underrated Star Marie Luv.  The voting is still open so please visit http://thefameawards.com/vote_email.aspx and support these performers. 

2008 may prove to be a little different for blacks in the adult industry.  Ms. Giana Taylor is introducing the first annual Urban Spice Awards. 

The Urban Spice Awards will be held at Platinum Live, hosted by the infamous Sean Michaels, hot Latina adult starlet  Olivia O'Lovely and Comedian Evan Lionel. The red carpet will be hosted by Comedians Tia J and Speedy the Comedian!!! 

All categories are be filled with star studded ebony talent.  They include Best Agency with Ethnic Talent; this category includes agencies such as Exotic Talent and Double Exxxposure agencies.

The Best Anal Performer category includes names like Beauty Dior, Jazmine Cashmere, Marie Luv, and Sinnamon Luv just to name a few.  This category has a total of fifteen talents.
